1:21 pm	Friday. I am loving that it is almost the weekend. Four more hours... At least it's sunny and hot and my new client is cute so I'll probably get to go to the park. I just talked myself into a full time overnight position and then the company took the position off the website. Really bummed. We'll see how things pan out. Also, applying for a full time front desk position at THE SENATOR! again, we'll see. I have to get a job sometime soon because high school is almost over and thus so will tutoring. 8 hrs at Care & Comfort won't cut it I'm afraid. Current Mood: stressed (Comment on this)

2:00 pm	oh lj. right now... right NOW I am sitting at Dirigo High School, hoping that high school students are doing their homework. and rediscovering LJ... obvi. I'm going to try to write every day for a year. We'll see how that goes... I was an hour late for work today because I had to take my car to Bob Rowe due to a check engine light so awesome to have a trustworthy mechanic too bad I have to drive an hour to get him to work on the car now, instead of him being right next door. the B.P. oil... well, I guess you'd call it a spill... or accident? either way. It makes me very VERY angry. and it's just getting worse. every day. for a month?! lame. Current Mood: hungry (Comment on this)

12:51 am	"Yeah, I'm gonna be a scientist..." yesterday, March 25, 2008 I got into Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science and just when i thought things couldn't get better I discovered March 26, 2008 the day that Michael "Meerkat" Johnson wrote on my facebook wall and i'm going to a ballin' concert. like fo realzies beyond my wildest imagination. exxxxxxxxxxxxcellent. 12:56 pm	mostly just an update so three weeks left in the semester with only one final [at the beginning of the week, i believe] and then i'll only have one semester left which is really really weird but really exciting because it means new things and i think i'm really ready for that now or at least that's what i'm telling myself but mostly i'm excited to be back in The County for an extended stay and snow and family but mostly Bryan Fowler I've been missing him a lot as of late and we're going to make a mix cd for Winter Break so we can listen to it all the time when we're cruisin' around together thus far it consists of two slammin' jams with the prospects of more on the horizon and i get to see him briefly this weekend in ORONO!!! and seeing RUSTIC! it'll be nice [although a little sad]to be heading north instead of to portland it's really weird not knowing when i'll be back in portland because now i don't really have a reason to go anymore don't get me wrong, my friends there are more than enough reason but everyone else is tied up in twosomes and i'm by myself again but this really wasn't supposed to be a sad lj entry just an update so, i'm wearing my new black boots today and lots of mascara with liquid eye liner and it looks goooooooooooood [also, i wish my G key would function more naturally] Current Mood: peaceful (4 Comments |Comment on this)

2:27 pm	Let My Love Open The Door To Your Heart so it's been a while, eh? things are pretty groovin in farmtown etc. i mostly just chill with K. Sal & Casey also with this AMAZING girl posse they make me things and often have fun presents and stories to tell me i've also been seeing a [metal] boy in Portland which for the time being is very fun and exciting so i'm down in portland quite a bit thus far in the semester school is pretty difficult [again] with michael johnson forcing me to do a lot of reading about african americans mostly and i have a radio show again this year this time with DJ OZz [Peter Osborne] and it has been quite delightful thus far it's on Wednesdays from 8-10pm and you can tune in via the interweb http://wumf.umf.maine.edu/ so yeah. that's a pretty good summary http://wumf.umf.maine.edu/ Current Mood: bouncy (Comment on this)

9:40 pm	a lot has happened such as being able to legally drink alcohol that's a big one and school ending and finals seemed to go a lot better than expected and getting a job at Smythe's IGA today in the deli? and being home again it's good to be home, but i don't see much of a social life for this summer and all i can think about is how my best friends are scattered about the state and how i especially want to find myself in Orono a lot and how i'm not sure if that's going to happen becuase of working and how i'm not sure if the person that is on my mind would even care and how it's been like this for a year and how it makes me feel foolish but i just can't stop it's ridiculous how you can't make yourself stop having feelings for someone it's so ridiculous so ri-god-damn-diculous and i think how could i have possibly misread these signs? how is there any way that he could not feel the same, when he acts this way? and yet i still doubt it in the very depth of my mind and even if it was a possibility i lost my chance and how every day i still hope that the feelings are mutual Current Mood: confused (1 Comment |Comment on this)

12:02 am	who'd a thunk it? Sometimes I stop and look around my life and I think... life is pretty grand I basically get paid to be that cool older sister type person ya know, the type who sometimes has to tattle on you I love that I've gotten to know people that I otherwise never would have. I love my staff I love that we have fun I love that I have fun with them I love the silliness of sexually harassing my coworkers and chilling upside down on the couch in the lounge with Chrissy and Shannon I'm already amped for next year and training and new staff members and this semester is barely started! school and homework as much as I complain it's pretty sweet to get to read literature and just talk about it it doesn't suck, is all i'm saying and new friends and old friends new experiences old habits breakfast at Becky's diner bulldog puppies and family that misses me when I'm gone I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again I love life. 2:13 am	and if you want me, you better speak up, I won't wait "They" say you never get over your first love and after kicking this person out of my life for a period of time he has become part of it again and it seems to be so much better and so much more this time around and even stranger is that after almost a year of enjoyable independence I am pining yes, pining is it new years? is it that I've been watching too many romantic comedies and becoming absorbed in my favorite book about the romances set in the time of the Sun King at the palace of Versailles? and I can't help asking myself if it's truly right to be interested in said person again or is it just that you never get over your first love? when little things that simply are that person make you smile is it possible that there could be a round 2? i'm not sure Happy New Year Current Mood: awake (1 Comment |Comment on this)
